West Somerset Steam Railway
The award-winning West Somerset Railway recaptures the era of the country railway in the days of steam. Enjoy twenty miles of glorious scenery as the train gently rolls back the years on its journey beside the Quantock Hills and the Somerset coast.
In
2008 the Railway is hosting lots of special events,
including the very popular Spring Steam Gala in
March, a family week end in July, the Steam Fayre
and Vintage Rally in August, and the Autumn in
Somerset week end at the end of October. Plus
several more special events, and lots and lots
of steam trains, dining trains, excursions and
special trains throughout the summer.
